Energy independence – oil, gas, nuclear power, renewable energy, money and time

Wind energy generators and flowers

Taking a glimpse at the debates on energy matters puts a lot of questions. It is obvious that when you look through the eyes of a profit it is easier to keep the status quo. It always is easier to earn money when you steal instead of creating. The simple fact is that when we use natural resources, we steal from the planet and we’re not giving them back. We consume the products we steal and forget about our deeds. But as the human laws are set to protect the community, the natural laws are formed to protect the eternity, and in both cases there is no theft unpunished. The slight difference is in the time factor – the human laws are based on a single person’s life, while natural ones are part of a way longer cycle.

Renewable energy control

Wind energy

The wind energy was the natural power that allowed the humans to exploit the surface of the planet. Sails of the ships were the wind-catchers used for transportation of men and goods over a large water areas but we can’t control the air movements. Sandy’s coming to shore – run or hide!

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park was launched early this year diversifying energy sources as written in the Integrated Energy Strategy of Dubai. The project is scheduled to be completed by October 2013. Several stages will lead to the total capacity of 1,000 MW on completion of the solar park.

The power that stopped the Sun.

Renewable life through the eyes of a cloud

In all religions the Sun is a symbol of Gods’ power. According to science, Sun is the center of our system and the main reason for our existence – probably not responsible for creation of life but its primary supporter.

Then man created money. In the beginning gold was just a measure for the added value of one’s labor and, in many cultures, a symbol of the Gods, but  it started to live its own life as greed was fertile ground for growth.
