My life, my energy, my responsibility

Energy connections

My energy is my life. When my power is over I‘ll die. I know that it will happen some day, but I’m not going to give up easy. I’ll move and struggle for life till the end. I will squeeze the last drop of energy from this body before leaving it to the ground.

But I am careful. As I am sure about the ground, I’m not in a hurry to lay there before the time has come. Some people may call me lazy or selfish, or slow, but the truth is that I care about stress and do not want to spill energy on concerns outside my family and friends, because my life is short enough to have too many. I feed well. I’m taking from the fruits of the soil all the substances I need though one day I’ll give them back to the Earth. But as long as it depends on me, I’ll set this day far and away. I respect love and life but I don’t respect money. For my short experience on this planet, I’ve seen how money disappear the same way as they appear – sometimes out of nothing and often out of lies. Life, on the other hand, always appears out of love though some people are still trying to buy it and disappears in memories. I don’t have any idea if my grand-grandfather’s dad was rich or poor and don’t have any clue about the currency he used to trade goods, but I know that I bear a part of his life through the blood of my ancestors.

My responsibility is to preserve life. Renewable cycle. It is determined by the nature of all living forms and my life will be worthless if I don’t continue the chain.

Now, I’m thinking that the Earth is our family – mother to the whole human race but we are trying to kill her and this way cut our umbilical cord. I don’t think there is another place for us to go and I don’t believe that when we take the last drop of energy from her, our mother will survive with the whole of her family.
