Resource wars in the era of renewables
Renewable energy sources are slowly pushing away the dependence on traditional energy. Each and every day we break the chains of our reliance on limited in quantity resources. Each and every day the technology improves and we gain more and more energy from the nature without destroying it.
Modern slavery
Slaves were chained together so that if one tried to escape, it would not be as easy. He would need the whole group to escape with him. And it would be very slow. Slaves power was needed. Today we need energy for the machines that have taken the place of the “live force” – animal & human. But it seems that all of us are chained by the invisible and mighty chain called “grid” and “stations”.
The energy of cash
In physics, energy is understood as the ability of a physical system to do work on other physical systems but despite of such explanations there is no complete understanding of what energy is.
According to the law of conservation of energy, energy can neither be created nor destroyed by itself. It can only be transformed.
We often use power as a synonym of energy. Power is not a complete synonym but mostly refers to the conversion rate regarding the above mentioned law.
Giant or dwarf
Some will state that the size always matters while others will count on the effectiveness. Let us take a look at the renewable energy sources. Of course not all territories could benefit from the power of the water as not all have this valuable resource while the sun and wind are for everybody.
