The Earth energy and the beauty

The Earth energy sources - Earth’s energy comes from the original formation of the planet and from radioactive decay of minerals. The geothermal gradient, which is the difference in temperature between the core of the planet and its surface, drives a continuous conduction of thermal energy in the form of heat from the core to the surface. The power of the water

Hydropower, hydroelectric power or water power is power that is derived from the force or energy of flowing or falling water, which may be harnessed for useful purposes. More »

The power of the wind

The wind power is the ability of air movement to do work. Today, wind energy turbines are used mainly for production of electricity. It is a clean and renewable energy source that can produce enough electricity to power huge areas. More »

The invisible power

The energy of the wind is invisible and so powerful that has allowed humans to exploit the surface of the planet long before the discovering of electricity. More »

Renewable energy sources – foundations of life

The energy of life and death

When we use renewable sources of energy, we should ask ourselves: What is the connection between these sources and our existence? Life is the biggest miracle on our planet and its foundations are clear.

To burn our own house

Green energy

There is a place on Earth that is 100% powered by renewable energy sources – the three atolls of Tokelau.
Previously the island country was powered by shipping in thousands of barrels of diesel fuel. According to PowerSmart, the New Zealand based company that installed the Tokelau Renewable Energy Project, diesel generators were burning around 200 liters of fuel daily on each atoll, meaning more than 2,000 barrels of diesel were used to generate electricity in Tokelau each year.

My life, my energy, my responsibility

Energy connections

My energy is my life. When my power is over I‘ll die. I know that it will happen some day, but I’m not going to give up easy. I’ll move and struggle for life till the end. I will squeeze the last drop of energy from this body before leaving it to the ground.

But I am careful. As I am sure about the ground, I’m not in a hurry to lay there before the time has come. Some people may call me lazy or selfish, or slow, but the truth is that I care about stress and do not want to spill energy on concerns outside my family and friends, because my life is short enough to have too many.

Energy independence – oil, gas, nuclear power, renewable energy, money and time

Wind energy generators and flowers

Taking a glimpse at the debates on energy matters puts a lot of questions. It is obvious that when you look through the eyes of a profit it is easier to keep the status quo. It always is easier to earn money when you steal instead of creating. The simple fact is that when we use natural resources, we steal from the planet and we’re not giving them back. We consume the products we steal and forget about our deeds. But as the human laws are set to protect the community, the natural laws are formed to protect the eternity, and in both cases there is no theft unpunished. The slight difference is in the time factor – the human laws are based on a single person’s life, while natural ones are part of a way longer cycle.
