The Earth energy and the beauty

The Earth energy sources - Earth’s energy comes from the original formation of the planet and from radioactive decay of minerals. The geothermal gradient, which is the difference in temperature between the core of the planet and its surface, drives a continuous conduction of thermal energy in the form of heat from the core to the surface. The power of the water

Hydropower, hydroelectric power or water power is power that is derived from the force or energy of flowing or falling water, which may be harnessed for useful purposes. More »

The power of the wind

The wind power is the ability of air movement to do work. Today, wind energy turbines are used mainly for production of electricity. It is a clean and renewable energy source that can produce enough electricity to power huge areas. More »

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park was launched early this year diversifying energy sources as written in the Integrated Energy Strategy of Dubai. The project is scheduled to be completed by October 2013. Several stages will lead to the total capacity of 1,000 MW on completion of the solar park.

“The PV plant installation is a key step in the implementation of the energy diversification strategy adopted by the Supreme Council of Energy, in which solar energy is set to become part of Dubai’s energy portfolio. The strategy is based on Dubai’s growing energy requirements and aims to maintain security of supply in the Emirate of Dubai,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

“That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind” is a remarkable quote that flashed through when the first patches of this renewable solar oil painting were done.
